ULF Championship Tips: Adam Long
Runner-up last year and returns in good form with finishes of T7-T6-T15 in his last three starts.
Adam Long finished runner-up behind Smylie Kaufmann at Victoria National last year and can go one better this time round.
For starters he arrives in better form. In his last three starts he has finished T7-T6-T15 and hasn’t shot over par in his last 12 competitive rounds.
A terrific driver of the ball (ranked 9th in total driving last season) he should stay out of trouble on this demanding course and there will be less pressure on his putter because par is often a good score.
With 44 start on the Web.com Tour, he should have garnered enough experience to understand what it takes to win and at 40/1 (Bet365) looks a solid bet.
