Turkish Airlines Open Tips: Stephen Gallacher
Has two top-25s at this event and signs of his game returning since he changed coach.
It’s been a quiet season for Stephen Gallacher with only two top-10s on tour but recent results suggest his change of coach is starting to yield results.
Since linking up with Mike Walker, he’s finished in the top-20 at the Dunhill Links and the Portugal Masters hitting over 80% of GIRs in both events.
That bodes well for the Montgomerie Maxx Royal, which is all about hitting greens and creating birdie opportunities.
Gallacher has two top-25s at the event and has broken par in all eight rounds at the course.
The Ryder Cup winning Scot still sits 12th on tour for GIRs and with his game taking shape again he is a cracking each-way bet at 66/1 (Boylesports).
