Tshwane Open Tips: Jaco Ahlers
Too big a price for a player of his ability. Finished T12 last week despite a cold putter.
After a quiet start to the year, Jaco Ahlers is moving in the right direction and last week’s T12 at the Dimension Data Pro-Am was encouraging.
Good week at @FANCOURTSA for #DiDataProAm!! Just disappointed I couldn't get the job done!! #putting

His post round assessment on twitter, ‘Played great…couldn’t buy a putt’ was fair and if he can sink a few more at Copperfield, he will be in contention.
Last year he finished T35 despite carding a quadruple bogey in his second round; but for that one hole, he would have registered a top-10 finish.
The 35-year-old is one of the better players on the Sunshine Tour having never finished outside the top-30 in the money list and is a lively outsider at 200/1 (Coral).
