Players Championship Tips: Kevin Kisner
Runner-up twice this season and lost in a playoff in 2015. In excellent form and course suits.
Kevin Kisner has been playing some excellent golf this season, with eight top 25 finishes in 14 starts. More recently he has been threatening a win, finishing runner up at the Arnold Palmer and Zurich Classic and blowing an excellent opportunity at the RBC Heritage.
Not the longest of hitters, he won’t be hampered at TPC Sawgrass because the emphasis is on the second shot and that is where he excels, ranked 12th in strokes gained with approaches to the green.
On his 2015 debut at The Players he lost in a playoff to Rickie Fowler and he’s in the sort of form where he could go one better. Back Kisner with Bet365 and get 1/4 odds for a top-6 finish.
