Furyk Regains Winning Habit

Furyk Regains Winning Habit

After ending his win-less streak at the RBC Heritage the release of pressure could yield more victories. Runner-up last year.

Jim Furyk’s win at the RBC Heritage was a victory for the good guys but more importantly we no longer have to talk about his struggles to get over the line.

After countless near misses, the 44-year-old bagged his first title in four and a half years and it could open the floodgates.

Furyk is currently ranked third on tour in strokes gained tee-to-green and that is exactly what you need to succeed at TPC Sawgrass. Last season he finished runner-up, his third top-5 finish in the last 10 years.

A run to the semi-finals of the WGC Match Play won’t have done his confidence any harm and we can expect a bold showing at 25/1 (Bet365) with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
