Greenbrier Classic Tips: Sang-Moon Bae
Struggled to make much headway since his Byron Nelson win last summer but still a huge talent and there have been glimpses of form in recent week.
Sang-Moon Bae made a big breakthrough by winning the Byron Nelson last year but since that victory he’s barely been sighted on a leaderboard since.
The 28-year-old admitted his motivation waned after the win, a common trait amongst first-time winners, but he’s working hard to get back into form.
There have been glimpses this season. He shot an opening 66 at The Players Championship and finished T24 at the Travelers Championship.
Even a missed cut at Congressional contained positives; he failed to make the weekend by one shot and fought back with a 3-under par round on Friday.
The truth is we don’t know exactly when the Korean will bounce back to form; his Byron Nelson came out of the blue. What we do know is he’s got a wonderful swing and a huge amount of talent and shouldn’t be 200/1 (Paddy Power).
