Wilcox Leads All-Around
Leads the tour in all-around ranking and finished no worse than T26 in his last five starts.
Will Wilcox is the stats pin-up boy on the PGA Tour season. He enters the playoffs 75th in the standings but is first in the all-around ranking.
His results haven’t matched his play so far but he’s on the verge of a breakthrough and the statistic that matters is his price – a healthy 125/1 (Boylesports).
The 29-year-old has enjoyed a solid season with nine top-25 finishes but his results are improving. In his last five tournaments he’s finished T8-2-T21-T10-T26 and that’s without really making much on the greens.
In those five tournaments he’s finished inside the top-15 four times for strokes gained tee-to-green but only once in the top-30 for strokes gained putting.
His quality ball striking makes him a good fit for Plainfield Country Club and he’s a cracking each-way bet.
