Every season there is one player I tend to latch onto and keep backing until the bookmakers adjust their prices.
The 150/1 we got on Trey Mullinax last week is gone but 80/1 (Bet365) still represents a fair chunk of value for a top talent.
A college teammate of Justin Thomas, the two seem to be spurring each other on, despite playing on different tours.
Mullinax finished T14 last week, which means he has finished in the top-36 in seven of nine starts this season.
Ranked 7th in driving distance he’s got the power needed for TPC Stonebrae and the rest of his game isn’t too shabby as he ranks 6th in scoring average.
