St Jude Classic Tips: Charley Hoffman
Only missed one cut in 17 starts this season and although an infrequent visitor to TPC Southwind he finished T25 in 2010.
Charley Hoffman is enjoying a tremendous season and a first tour win in four years would be thoroughly deserved.
The 37-year-old has missed only one cut in 17 starts and sits 31st in the FedEx Cup.
He hits the ball a long way, has a terrific short game and is an excellent putter – all the attributes needed to succeed around TPC Southwind.
It is surprising he’s only played the event twice, making the cut both times. He finished T25 in 2010 but that was his last appearance.
The St. Jude Classic looks like the ideal tournament for Charley Hoffman; in a weakened field he is a standout bet at 66/1 (BetVictor).
