South African Open Tip: Romain Langasque
Hugely talented young player who has already started showing up on European Tour leaderboards. Finished T10 in Australian PGA on last start.
Big things are expected of Romain Langasque and this could be his breakout season. Winner of the Amateur Championship in 2015, he enjoyed a consistent debut year as a professional making 17/18 cuts.
Finishing ninth on the Challenge Tour money list was enough to earn promotion to the European Tour and he’s already made his mark at a higher level.
The 21-year-old finished T39-T33-T7-T34-T10 in five European Tour starts, including an impressive T10 at the Australian PGA last time out.
Langasque started 2016 with a second place in the Kenya Open and he could repeat the feat with a strong start in South Africa.
