Keegan’s Putter Getting Hot

Striking the ball well all year but finally started to make some putts at Bay Hill. Has top-10 finishes in his last two visits to Houston.

Keegan Bradley is the type of player I love to back. He’s done us a few favours over the years landing some big wins but more importantly he is a scrapper.

The impartial viewer might get frustrated with his slow play but he always fights until the very end. The Arnold Palmer was a perfect example; he played poorly during the final round but still finished second, a shot behind the winner.

The 27-year-old has been playing solid golf all season, with eight top-20 finishes in ten stroke play events but crucially the putter is heating up.

Bradley ranked 20th for strokes gained putting at Bay Hill, his best week with the flat stick since the Humana Challenge in January.

It augers well for the Houston Open, a tournament where he has cracked the top-10 on his last two visits. At 25/1 (Paddy Power) back him each-way and get ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
