Houston Open Tips: Jason Kokrak
The par-5s are in range with his power (7th for par-5 scoring) and arrives in excellent form.
Jason Kokrak could be a popular selection at the Houston Open because he has the much-loved combination of strong current form and course form.
The big hitting American has finished T7-T6-T11 in his last three starts but could have placed even higher at the Texas Open but for missing several short putts on Sunday.
Kokrak has missed two of his last three cuts in Houston but did manage a T9 in 2013 so he can play the course well and is attractively priced at 50/1 (Stan James).
His power off the tee and out of the rough will be an advantage and he should gobble up the par-5s considering he is 7th on tour in par-5 scoring average.
