Houston Open Tip: Brandon Harkins
Is 10/13 in cuts made this season and has seven top-25 finishes. Ranked 36th in adjusted scoring averages and no obvious weaknesses in his game.
Brandon Harkins is a late developer in golfing terms but the 31-year-old has made great strides in the last twelve months. At the start of 2017 he was ranked 1244th in the world but he’s now on the cusp of breaking into the world’s top-200.
Last season he plied his trade on the Web.com Tour, finishing 21st on the Money List with a second place at the Ellie Mae Classic the highlight. His consistency was a strength and he’s transferred that to the PGA Tour. He is 10/13 in cuts made and has 7 top-25 finishes.
