Scottish Open: Andrew Johnston

Has done much in 2019 prior to his T4 at this event and returns in much better form after a productive UK Swing. An excellent links golfer he's got the form in the book and should be shorter.

The Scottish Open returns to the The Renaissance Club in North Berwick and with it we have another links test. Given the challenge on offer i’m surpised Andrew Johnston isn’t much shorter in the betting because his credentials are obvious. Last year he finished T4 at this course having not shown much form prior to arriving in Scotland but this time his form is better advertisied.

The Englishman finished third at the Celtic Classic and had enjoyed a run of T19-T3-T37 after a false-start immediately out of lockdown. With a top-10 at the 2016 Open one of the highlights of his career plus a slew of other good results on links courses he really is screaming to be backed this week.
