Savannah Golf Championship Tip: Wyndham Clark

Leads total driving stats and 11th in the all-around ranking. Already has a top-5 under his belt and a talented youngster on the up.

The Savannah Golf Championship is a new event on the Tour and with six different first-time winners on tour already this season, this is a fiendishly difficult event to call. Therefore, i’m going back to basics and betting on talent with upside.

Wyndham Clark earned his tour card through second-stage qualifying, finishing 21st guaranteeing eight starts on tour. A T4 in the Great Abaco Classic took some pressure off and this talented youngster could quickly progress through the ranks. A talented collegiate golfer, he was a first-team All-American and a finalist for the Ben Hogan Award. On his first start as a professional he finished 17th at the Sanderson Farms Champions on the PGA Tour, so this boy can play.

Currently ranked first on tour for total driving, he is long and relatively straight. Clark is 11th in the all-around rankings and given his progressive profile, shouldn’t be 150/1 with Sportingbet
