4th Nov 2014 | Sanderson Farms Championship

Sanderson Farms Tips: Andrew Putnam

Finished T12 at the McGladrey Classic and has a history of starting a new season strongly.

This week’s Sanderson Farms Championship is a step into the unknown. The tournament has a new place in the calendar and a new venue; The Country Club of Jackson.

The par-72 course is hard to assess but it seems to offer a bit of everything. With that in mind, we’ve gone for three players who are simply better than their price.

Andrew Putnam started the year strongly on the Web.com Tour, with three top-10 finishes and a win in his first seven tournaments.

The 25-year-old has spoken about the necessity to start each season strongly and he was true to his word with a T-12 at the McGladrey Classic a fortnight ago.

He is already ranked 25th on the PGA Tour’s all-around ranking and at 100/1 (Boylesports) he looks a good each-way bet.
