Rose-Tinted Masters?

A late double-bogey from Jordan Spieth breathes new life into the US Masters. The 21-year-old remains hot favourite heading into the final round but big names await a slip-up.

Jordan Spieth broke the 54-hole scoring record at the US Masters by finishing at -16 which is why he starts the final round as nothing longer than 1/2 (Skybet) to claim a first major title.

However, a late stumble on the 17th hole, combined with a dazzling back nine from Justin Rose (-12) kept interest alive heading into Sunday. The Englishman is a best price 24/5 (Coral) to add a Green Jacket to his 2013 US Open title.

Just one shot further back, three-time champion Phil Mickelson looms large at 13/2 with Betfred. Superstars Rory McIlroy (80/1 Bet365) and Tiger Woods (125/1 StanJames) would have to come from 10 shots back to pull of an astonishing victory.

For those who think Jordan is home and hosed, the ‘without Spieth’ market could offer some alternative interest. This brings some lively outsiders into play such as Dustin Johnson on -6 (28/1 WilliamHill) and Paul Casey on -5 (150/1 Paddy Power).
