RBC Heritage Tips: Chez Reavie
Poor record at Harbour Town is surprising because it is a good fit on paper. Ranked third in scrambling and arrives in good form.
Chez Reavie’s record at the RBC Heritage reads: MC-MC-MC-56-55-MC but in every other respect he has the ideal game for Harbour Town Golf Links.
The 34-year-old isn’t especially long but is straight (15th in driving accuracy) and has a terrific short game (3rd in scrambling); a big help when tournament GIRs are usually below the 60% mark.
The reason why Reavie isn’t a household name yet is because he missed the 2013-14 season due to surgery on his left wrist. For a golfer, that was a serious setback but the good news is he’s back on track.
In his last five starts, Reavie has finished T26-7-T22-T60-T7 and we can expect at bold showing at 80/1 (William Hill).
