Quicken Loans National Tips: Chad Collins
Rarely misses a cut and ranked first in scrambling on tour.
Chad Collins could only manage a T41 after we tipped him for the Canadian Open but having watched him closely, he played better than the bare result.
On Thursday he hit almost everything to inside 20 feet but couldn’t make a putt. He never recovered from the slow start but tee-to-green his game was in good shape.
Collins is currently ranked 22nd in proximity with his approach shots and is first in scrambling, so whenever misses he usually gets up and down.
The 36-year-old has only missed one cut in his last ten starts and that level of consistency could be rewarded at 160/1 (Bet365).
