Qatar Masters Tips: Rafa Cabrera-Bello

Has twice finished third in Qatar and last week’s missed cut might have been early season rustiness.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello failed to deliver in Abu Dhabi after we gave him a big build up but he deserves a second chance.

The Spaniard has a terrific record in the desert. He won the 2012 Dubai Desert Classic, has two third places at the Qatar Masters and finished T9 at the Tour Championship in Dubai.

Last year was a real missed opportunity in Doha. He lead at the halfway stage but a poor third round brought the pack into contention and he eventually finished T3.

His missed cut last week might have been down to early season rustiness and he is a good each-way bet at 50/1 (Boylesports) with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
