Price Cutter Charity Championship Tips: Jose Toledo

Top ranked on tour for scoring before the cut and surely only a matter of time before he gets it together over the weekend.

One route to value in golf is finding players performing better than the bare results and Jose Toledo fits the bill.

The Guatemalan is 187th on the money list but 19th in scoring average.

A late arrival on the Web.com Tour, he’s playing catch up but recent results have been encouraging. He’s only missed one cut in his last six starts but cannot convert promising weekend positions.

Toledo is ranked first on tour for scoring before the cut but 106th and 98th for third and fourth round scoring.

This is likely to be a mental problem rather than anything technical and should improve with experience, after all Toledo has only played 20 times on the Web.com Tour.

He might fail to covert again but at 175/1 (Bet365) with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish he is worth the risk.
