Price Cutter Championship: Oscar Fraustro

Steadily improving as the summer progresses and unlucky to miss his first cut in six starts when opening with a pair of 69s in Utah.

The Web.com Tour has been littered with surprise winners this season therefore i’m embracing the madness and going with Oscar Fraustro. The Mexican has not won at this level in 94 starts but he did taste success in the second half of 2017 in the San Luis Championship.

Having started the new year slowly there has been steady improvement in Fraustro’s game and in his last six starts has finished 20-48-44-62-6-MC and the missed cut in Utah wasn’t a disgrace after rounds of 69-69 left him shy of making the weekend by one.

Not the longest off the tee, he is still ranked 36th for GIRs and 31st in scoring average with most of that improvement coming in the last two months. The 36-year-old’s course record is 30-MC-MC but in this instance i’m giving more weight to current form than course form.
