Portugal Masters: Andy Sullivan

Portugal Masters: Andy Sullivan

Won by 9 shots last year and struck the ball well at the Grove. Ranked inside top-25 for driving accuracy, distance and GIRs.

Andy Sullivan lapped the field at the Portugal Masters last year winning by nine shots and he arrives in the same sort of form, flying slightly under the radar. The layers respect the Englishman because of his exploits 12 months ago but that enthusiasm is tempered by a run of MC-MC-MC-20-41 in his last five European Tour stars.

A T41 in front of a partisan crowd at the Grove might appear disappointing but his play deserved better. Sullivan ranked in the top-25 for driving accuracy, distance and GIRs but gave up strokes putting.

A return to Oceanico Victoria will bring back positive memories and he’s clearly comfortable on the greens. A 20/1 he is a decent each-way bet.
