Portland Open Tips: Kent Bulle

Leads the tour in par-5 scoring and needs a big week to keep his Web.com Tour card.

The Portland Open is the last opportunity for players to make their move before the end of the regular season with PGA and Web.com Tour cards still up for grabs.

Having finished second on the LatinoAmerica Tour money list I had high hopes for Kent Bulle this season, unfortunately things haven’t quite gone his way.

Statistically there is a lot to like about his game. He is one of the best drivers of the ball on tour (8th in total driving) and leads the tour in par-5 scoring average but this hasn’t translated into results.

Bulle has only two top-25 finishes all season but his form has picked up in the second half of the campaign with finishes of T17-MC-T35-T31 in his last four starts.

Sat 116th in the money list he needs a huge week in Portland but he’s perfectly capable of going low and is a lively outsider at 200/1 (William Hill).
