Panama Claro Tips: Ken Looper

Panama Claro Tips: Ken Looper

Comfortable in surroundings having finished T18-T31 in Panama on the Latino Tour. T39 last week.

The terrifically named Ken Looper spent the early part of his career enjoying success on the minor tours but he’s got plenty of game and can make the step up in grade.

In the past two seasons, he played 28 times on the Latino America, including a T18-T31 finish in the Panama Classic (different course), so is familiar with the challenges in this part of the world.

He built on that good of run of form with a T8 finish at Q-School, which gives him a guaranteed number of starts early in the season. Looper will have one eye of the reshuffle but has started the season brightly with finishes of 67-T68-T39, often playing in the worst of the weather and occasionally losing his hat!

Given his experience in South America, he shouldn’t be 250/1.
