Is 3/3 in cuts made this season, excellent driver of the ball and finished T5 in Panama last year.
No excuses can be made for Austin Cook’s T57 last week in Colombia but he is now 3/3 in cuts made the season with finishes of 21-15-57.
The 26-year-old is falling short of the highs he hit on the PGA Tour, when bagging 6 top-25s in just 10 starts but a return to Panama Golf Club could spark him into life. Last year Cook finished T5 in this event, his second-best finish of the season.
A terrific driver of the ball, he’s at his best on a testing layout and we should go in again at 50/1 on a course that suits him better than last week.
