Time To Havret A Winner
Accurate driver who opened with a 63 at Crans-sur-Sierre not that long ago.
Gregory Havret isn’t the most frequent of winners, you have to go back to 2008 to find his last victory but tee-to-green he’s still amongst the best on tour.
The Frenchman is ranked fourth for driving accuracy on tour and that is a big advantage on this week’s tight layout.
It usually unravels for Havret on the greens but on his penultimate stroke play start he opened with a round of 63 at the European Masters, demonstrating the potential to get hot.
The 38-year-old missed the cut in Holland last week but his form this season has generally been good, with seven top-25s including a T11 at Wentworth.
If he can get something going on the greens he should outrun odds of 125/1 (Skybet).
