Regular readers of this column will know how much I rate the young golfer from Argentina and ranked second on tour for GIRs, he’s sure to enjoy this week’s stern test.
Grillo has already experienced the severity of Le Golf National; he missed the cut last year but finished a respectable T23 in 2012.
The 21-year-old’s big weakness is the flat stick but he bagged a surprise T8 in Cologne last week, in what was essentially a putting competition.
If he carries that confidence to Paris, he will be a big threat at 66/1 (Stan James).
