Open de Espana Tips: Adrien Saddier

Broke par in all four rounds at the PGA Catalunya Stadium Course at last year’s Q-School. Arrives in good form after back-to-back top-20 finishes.

Adrien Saddier is a player we’ve raved about before in this column and I’m happy to go in again at 150/1.

Last week he finished T12 in the curtailed Madiera Open but would almost certainly have bagged a top-10 but for a double-bogey on the final hole when he was pressing hard to make birdie or better.

The 21-year-old is in his first season on the European Tour, a reward for finishing T5 at Q-School, which was at PGA Catalunya.

He played the Stadium Course which hosts this week’s Open de Espana particularly well, breaking par in all four rounds.

Arriving on the back of consecutive top-20 finishes he is overpriced at 150/1 (Stan James).
