OHL Classic Tip: Andrew Landry

OHL Classic Tip: Andrew Landry

Has won in the Bahamas and Colombia so won't mind the coastal track nor the Paspalum greens.

Andrew Landry is having his second crack at the OHL Classic, having missed the cut with rounds of 73-70 two years ago but he returns a far superior player. He is 338 places higher in the world rankings and has experienced leading a major (first round leader at 2016 US Open).

.
Last season he finished fourth on the Web.com money list winning once and registering a further seven top-10 finishes. What really catches my eye is that both Landry’s professional victories have come outside the United States.

Back in January he won in the Bahamas and in 2015 (also on the Web.com Tour) he won in Colombia. He clearly likes playing abroad and will face a similair test at El Camaleon golf course in Cancun, Mexico.

Having won in the Bahamas, another coastal venue affected by wind, he should be comfortable in the conditions and his recent T7 at the Safeway Open proves he is up to this level.
