Pelle Edberg finished T4 on the course back in 2011 on the Challenge Tour. Has recorded three top-20s in wind affected events this year.
The Nordea Masters returns to PGA Sweden National for the second year but there is some hidden course form if you look harder.
The course hosted the 2011 Princess by Schuco Challenge Tour event and several of this week’s field played in the tournament.
Ricardo Santos and Daniel Brooks finished 1-2 but both are in dire form and best left alone. The player of greater interest is Pelle Edberg, who finished T4 back in 2011.
This is a ‘home’ event for the Swedish golfer and he arrives in good form. In his last five starts, he has finished T17-MC-T13-T9-MC.
Crucially his best finishes have come on courses affected by the wind like in Morocco, Mauritius and the Spanish Open and a similar test awaits him this week.
At 200/1 (Coral) he rates an excellent each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
