Nordea Masters Tips: Pablo Larrazabal
Has played Bro Hof Slott GC three times with a best T14 finish in 2013. Finished the weekend strongly at Wentworth for a T12.
The Nordea Masters returns to Bro Hof Slott GC for the first time since 2013 but having hosted the event four times previously there is plenty of course form to go on.
This will be Pablo Larrazabal’s fourth visit, having finished MC-T47-T14 but he’s shaped better than the bare results. In 2013 he was T9 going into the final round but couldn’t get anything going on the back nine. In 2012, he finished even worse, starting the day T22 he plummeted to T47, with four dropped shots coming in the last two holes.
The Spaniard just needs to string four rounds together at Bro Hof Slott to contend and the signs at Wentworth were positive. He finished T12 but would have been much higher if he’d putted better. Larrazabal finished T4 for GIRs but 54th in putts per GIR.
Having also played well in Ireland, Larrazabal should travel to Sweden in high spirits and is capable of adding to his four tour wins at 50/1 (Paddy Power).
