Nordea Masters: Paul Dunne
Finished T30 at Wentworth from a poor draw and came through qualifying at Walton Heath on Monday.
There’s not much more to add regards Paul Dunne that hasn’t been written before. Having followed him around Walton Heath at US Open Qualifying (he came through a playoff to make it to Erin Hills) I’m convinced he is a European Tour winner in waiting.
The ability to press when needed or play safe when necessary is the hallmark of experience and after his near miss at the Trophee Hassan he is ready to win.
Last year he missed the cut at Bro Hof Slott Golf but after a solid T30 at Wentworth after getting the worst of the draw he is ready to win.
