Nordea Masters: Nino Bertasio

After a run of four consecutive missed cuts Nino Bertasio found form at the BMW PGA with a T14 finish. It was comfortably his biggest cheque of the year and hopefully can propel him to bigger and better things.

The 28-year-old finished T12 at the Nordea Masters last year and this relatively late bloomer could be set for another big week.

Winner of the Alps Tour Order of Merit in 2014, it’s not that long since he was registering consistently good results. We’ve seen with Matt Wallace that the transition between tours isn’t impossible and although slightly behind the curve Bertasio has the ability to make an impact this week.
