Knoxville Open Tip: Chase Seiffert

Leads the tour in ball-striking and has gone close on his last two starts (T2-T4). Would be much shorter in the betting if he'd played Fox Den before but course form looks overbet in this market.

Course knowledge has been over played in the Knoxville Open because otherwise Chase Seiffert would be vying for favouritism. This is his first visit to Fox Den Country Club but they way he’s been playing of late you could stick him on the moon and he’d make birdie.

The 27-year-old has finished T2-T4 on his last two starts, each time having good chances to win. If he keeps putting himself in contention, eventually he’ll win.

Seiffert leads the two in GIRs, total driving and therefore naturally ball-striking. He is long, straight and can putt - it’s hard to find any weaknesses in his game. All that is missing is a win but with just 38 starts to his name, he is building valuable experience without it turning into scar tissue.
