Nedbank Golf Challenge Tips: Andy Sullivan

Nedbank Golf Challenge Tips: Andy Sullivan

Didn’t quite fire in Turkey, again struggled to hole putts but tee-to-green his game is in excellent shape and South Africa is where it all started for Sullivan.

Andy Sullivan was always on the periphery of the Turkish Open last week but still finished a respectable T25 without anything really going his way.

A run of T41-2-T25 suggests a degree of inconsistency but that is almost entirely down to the putter. Tee-to-green there is plenty to like about his game. In Turkey, he ranked inside the top-20 for driving accuracy and GIRs and was in the top-10 for the same metrics in Portugal.

The putter is still lukewarm but his stroke looks good, he is getting the ball past the hole and one of these weeks they will start to drop.

The Nuneaton golfer kick-started his brilliant run with two wins in South Africa at the start of 2015 and a return will bring back happy memories.

Sullivan had a look at the Gary Player CC last year with a T16 finish at the Nedbank and is primed to go well at 28/1 with Stan James paying an extra place; top-6 at 1/5 odds.
