Nedbank Challenge Tip: Branden Grace

Having started 2017 ranked inside the top-20 in the world, it’s been a pretty poor year for Branden Grade, now the world’s 42nd best golfer. With just three top-10s to his name all season there’s been precious little to get excited about but the season is not over yet.

Grace has shown signs of life in the last month with consecutive T15 finishes in the CJ Cup and HSBC Champions and he returns to Sun City where he finished T3 last year.

The Gary Player course was firm last year, which meant scoring was difficult but that plays to Grace’s strenghts. He went close on a tough US Open layout whilst he’s won twice in Qatar, another firm course often affected by the wind.

Playing in front of a home crowd is another bonus and he’s just shown enough of late to warrant an interest at 16/1 with 6 places at 1/5 odds.
