Nashville Golf Open Tips: Taylor Moore
Excelled on the Mackenzie Tour Canada in 2016 and as many expected he is putting together a good season.
Taylor Moore arrived on the Web.com Tour with a fanfare in 2017 and he’s delivering on that promise. Last season he blitzed through the Mackenzie Tour Canada with five top-5s in 11 starts, including a win at the Staal Foundation Open.
Much was expected of him in 2017 and although he sits 45th on the money list, getting into the top-25 and earning a PGA Tour card isn’t an unrealistic goal.
After a tricky start in the Bahamas (like many he was affected by the wind), he’s not missed a cut since. A top-10 at the Mexico hinted at better things to come and although he finished an udnerwhelming T79 last week at the Lincoln Land he opened with two rounds in the 60s.
The putter needs to heat up because he hit 80.6% of GIRs last week (T6) but when it does he could be set for a big week.
