El Bosque Mexico Championship Tips: Roberto Diaz
Course record is 13-59-30 and arrives in good form after last week’s T3 finish.
Roberto Diaz has made huge strides this season, he is a career high 380th in the world rankings and has the bonus of playing in front of home fans this week.
The 30-year-old achieved his early season target of being to top ranked Mexican in the world, thus gaining him entry into the WGC Mexico Championship. He might have finished T67 but it was mission accomplished.
Diaz can now set his sights on reaching the PGA Tour and he’s started well in that respect with two top-3 finishes on the Web.com Tour, including last week at the United Leasing & Finance Championship.
In three starts at El Bosque Golf Club León, he has finished 13-59-30 and buoyed by a partisan crowd he could gain his first tour win.
