Madeira Island Open Tips: Adrien Saddier

Tour rookies have won the last two renewals of the Madeira Islands Open and there aren’t many better than this 21-year-old.

Earlier in the season, we highlighted Adrien Saddier as a player to look out for and the young Frenchman can make his mark this week.

Tour rookies have an excellent record in the Madeira Islands Open, with recent champions Ricardo Santos and Peter Uihlien winning the event in their first season on the European Tour.

In a slight quirk of fate both players went onto to be named Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year and Saddier is a player of that calibre.

He turned pro last July have reached a high of tenth in the Amateur World Rankings. He gained his card at Q-School and is currently ranked 45th in scoring average

The 21-year-old has a clutch of top-25 finishes already to his name and he could make the breakthrough this week at 40/1 (Bet365).
