Louisiana Open Tips: Franklin Corpening
Started the season strongly and will enjoy this week’s course where making birdies is essential.
Franklin Corpening is a player we highlighted earlier in the season at Chile and back on home soil, he makes our staking plan again.
The 29-year-old caught the eye when finishing T14 at Colonial last year and a player who can shoot 62 on the PGA Tour should be competitive on the Web.com.
Corpening’s strength is he makes plenty of birdies and that’s what is needed to win the Louisiana Open.
After starting the season well, he came unstuck on the more demanding Panama Championship course but he faces a completely different challenge this week and is very backable at 140/1 (Bet365).
