Louisiana Open Tip: TJ Vogel
Impressive T16 at the Valspar Championship but no fluke, finished 2017 strongly on the PGA Tour Canada. Bagged a T25 at Louisiana Open in 2014.
TJ Vogel is having his first Web.com Tour since the Digital Ally Open in August 2016 and he’s a player i’m really looking forward to following. A talented collegiate player he’s not quite fulfilled his potential in the professional game but there is time; remember this is a player who debuted at the Masters in 2013.
Last season he spent his time split between the PGA Tour Canada and the LatinoAmerica Tour playing well on both and registering three top-10 finishes including a second place at the Bayview Place Cardtronics Open.
The 27-year-old showcased his talents with an impressive T16 at the Valspar Championship, his third crack at the PGA Tour with missed cuts at the RSM and Honda Classic. The Louisiana Open represents a significant drop in class and having finished T25 at the course in 2014, he shouldn’t be 250/1.
