LECOM Health Challenge Tips: Cody Gribble

LECOM Health Challenge Tips: Cody Gribble

On a run of missed cuts but not playing that badly and runner-up only two months ago.

Golf betting markets can be fickle in nature, two months ago Cody Gribble was a bad bounce away from winning the ULF Championship and now he is 300/1 for the LECOM Health Challenge.

Having tipped Gribble at 150/1 for the ULF Championship I feel particularly aggrieved at the misfortune of his approach shot on the final hole.

The 25-year-old managed to finish T30 at the Rex Hospital a fortnight later but since then it has all been downhill. Gribble has missed his last five cuts but I don’t think he’s playing that badly. At the start of the season, he missed four of his first five cuts and then quickly regained his form.

The Upper Course of Peek’n Peak Resort shares many similarities with Victoria National, host of the ULF Championship. Both are relatively short but testing par-72 layouts where you have to drive the ball well.

It is worth noting that Gribble finished 27th on the money list last season and having gone close to a win already he shouldn’t be 300/1 (Paddy Power).
