LECOM Health Challenge Tip: Adam Svensson
Best result of 2016 came at this event (T9) and moving in the right direction with two top-25s in his last three starts.
After blitzing the Mackenzie Tour Canada in 2015 with finishes of 2-2-3-18-4-11 much was expected of Adam Svensson, especially after lapping the field at Web.com Q-School.
Unfortunately, things don’t always go to plan in sport and his debut season on the Web.com was a bit of a struggle.
Svensson finished 59th on the money list, by no means a disaster but it was below expectations despite six top-25 finishes on the season. The best of these came at the LECOM Health Challenge last year with a T9 and he should return to New York State in high spirits.
Past experience of the Peek’n Peak Resort is invaluable and the young Canadian is also trending in the right direction. He took last week off but previously was on a streak of three made cuts with finishes of 8-77-23.
