KLM Open Tips: Fabrizio Zanotti

Performed with distinction on his WGC and Major debut and could go well back in familiar surroundings.

Just over a couple of months ago, Fabrizio Zanotti won the BMW International Open after closing with a fine pair of 65s.

The bookmakers have short memories because he is back out to 80/1 and although recent results haven’t been spectacular they fail to recognise the quality of tournament.

The Paraguayan finished T26 at the WGC Bridgestone and T46 at the US PGA both fine results considering the step up in grade and unfamiliar territory he found himself in.

Zanotti’s form is therefore better than the bare results and he can show his true colours at Kennemer, a course he’s played well before.

The 31-year-old has finished T45-T15-T30 in his last three visits to the course and is overpriced at 80/1 (William Hill).
