KLM Open: Gregory Bourdy

Gregory Bourdy good record at Hilversumsche

Finished in the top-25 on both visits to the course and a regular winner on tour.

When looking at tournament form Gregory Bourdy has to come into the equation. His record at the KLM Open is: T25-T32-T8-T22. Those two twenty-something finishes both came at Hilversumsche Golf Club, this year’s venue. Another excellent scrambler, he ranks ninth on tour in that category, clearly the course suits the Frenchman’s game.

Ranked 36th on Tour, it is surprising to see him chalked up at triple figure odds. Two second places already this year suggest he is good enough to compete at the higher echelons of the leaderboard.

Recent form has been patch and that probably explains his price. He has missed cuts in his last three events, but they include the US PGA Championship. Indeed his best finish of the season, second at the Wales Open, came on the back of a missed cut. With wins in three of the last five seasons, Bourdy knows how to get the job done. I recommend backing him each for ¼ odds for a top five finish
