John Deere Classic Tips: Kevin Na

TPC Deere Run is not punishing off the tee, which means Na’s short game excellence should come to the fore.

Kevin Na makes a rare appearance at the John Deere Classic, his last was in 2008, but it is a shrewd move because he has the ideal game for the course.

The fairways at TPC Deere Run are easy to hit, driving accuracy has pushed above 70% for the last two years making it just about the easiest course on tour off the tee.

Good news for Na who isn’t the longest hitter and can be wayward with the driver.

The 30-year-old is currently 12th in the FedEx Cup and looks back to his best after an injury plagued 2013. At 35/1 (BetVictor) he is a solid each-way bet.
