Bohn To Pick

Jason Bohn has a good record at TPC Deere Run and is enjoying his best season on tour. Led going into the final round of the Greenbrier last week.

It is amazing to think Jason Bohn joined the PGA Tour in 2004 and over a decade later he is enjoying a career year.

The 42-year-old has amassed $1.7m in prize money this season and has gone desperately closing to gaining his first win since 2010.

Bohn has finished second twice already this season and was leading going into the final round of the Greenbrier Classic last week.

Unfortunately he couldn’t back-up his scintillating 61 on Saturday and fell to T13 but there is no doubt his game is in excellent shape.

Bohn isn’t particularly long but that shouldn’t be an issue at TPC Deere Run, where modest hitters like Steve Stricker and Zach Johnson have enjoyed success.

Bohn is gun-barrel straight (3rd in driving accuracy) and can make a tonne of birdies (22nd in birdie average). He has four top-25s at the John Deere Classic and should go well at 70/1 (Coral).
