Irish Open Tips: Rafa Cabrera-Bello

Has finished T2-T5 in the last two Irish Opens and enjoying another consistent year with five top-10s to his name.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello has finished T2-T5 in the last two Irish Opens and although the course has changed, his affinity for the tournament should see him go well.

The Spaniard is currently ranked 12th on tour for stroke average and 10th for GIRs which should mean plenty of birdie opportunities, especially with the weather set fair for the rest of the week.

The 30-year-old probably doesn’t win as often as he should but if he keeps getting into contention he should add to his two tour wins.

This season he has five top-10 finishes in just 11 starts, constancy that can reward each-way backers at 33/1 (Paddy Power) with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
