Hong Kong Open: Roope Kakko
Ranked in the top-10 for driving distance, accuracy and GIRs in 2013 but only finished T24. Arrives in excellent form.
At triple figure odds Roope Kakko looks the sleeper in the market. He might have missed his last two cuts but his form is much better than appears.
It wasn’t long ago that the 33-year-old enjoyed a real purple patch.
Since the Lyoness Open in mid-June, Kakko has registered seven top-30 finishes from 10 starts including a win in Madeira.
The Finnish golfer also has some good form at Fanling. He missed the cut last year but registered a T24 in 2013 that was better than it looked.
Kakko ranked in the top-10 for driving distance, driving accuracy and GIRs but couldn’t make anything on the greens.
If he puts that right, he should go well at 160/1 (Bet365).
